 LKE-GROUP in Thailand will use a BlueFlow system intended for a 100-ton mining truck. The objective is to monitor and reduce fuel consumption and emissions. LKE-group will test new technologies in terms of combustion and fuel systems.

Styrsobolaget's cutting edge and high-speed ship Valo will be the next ship to be equipped with BlueFlow Fuel. We at BlueFlow Americas are very proud to see yet a BlueFlow system installed on-board this very modern high-tech vessel. Valo is a catamaran constructed of carbon fiber reinforced sandwich construction, which provides a light and strong vessel. The length is 27.09 m and width 8.39 m passenger capacity is 163 seated people. Two MAN D2842 diesel engines, each 1019 hp (749 kW) operates a adjustable Servo Gear Propeller. The speed is 28.5 knots when fully loaded.

BlueFlow Torque is capable of measuring real time torque, rpm and shaft horsepower on rotating prop shaft 30 mm and larger. The torque measurements can be performed either with a temporarily installed trial kit or a permanent installation. Both the BlueFlow PC client system and the web based fuel services software has been updated to support these new measurements and can provide reporting such as gallons per kW/h etc...
